The Guardian Elite Academy
Overview:
This academy is designed for individuals who obtained their concealed carry permit but plan to use their firearm primarily for home defense. Learn essential tactics for protection in and around your home, using the gear you already have.
Module 1: Home Defense Fundamentals
- Understand how to set up your home defensively.
- Learn firearm staging, safe storage, and home-specific defense zones.
- Covers legal and ethical considerations for using force in the home.
Module 2: Low-Light Tactics & Home Movement
- Learn to navigate and defend your home in low-light or no-light conditions.
- Train with and without flashlights.
- Practice movement techniques that prioritize cover, concealment, and control.
Module 3: Family Safety & Emergency Planning
- Create a family action plan for break-ins or intrusions.
- Safe room planning, family communication, and "what if" drills.
- Coordinate roles and responses for multiple family members.

Course Format & Enrollment
- Each Academy: 3 separate training classes rotating bi-weekly on Tuesday evenings from 6-7:30PM at our Office, Chesapeake, VA.
- Class Duration: 1.5 hours per module (4.5 hours total per Academy)
- Skill Level Progression: Each module builds confidence and real ability, right away, at any level.
- Zoom Sessions: Q&A on alternating bi-weekly schedule of your class modules with different instructors, allows you to meet our entire team.
The Urban Defender Academy
Overview:
This academy is for concealed carriers who intend to carry every day. Training focuses on real-world application: drawing from concealment, defensive tactics in and around vehicles, and response in public spaces.
Module 1: Concealed Carry Draw & Garment Defeat
- Learn how to safely and quickly draw from holsters under concealment.
- Practice multiple carry positions (appendix, hip, etc.).
- Includes dry fire and live-fire reps under time and stress.
Module 2: Vehicle Defense & Travel Safety
- How to draw and defend while seated in a vehicle.
- Learn exit strategies, carjack prevention, and use of cover in/around vehicles.
- Discuss firearm storage while traveling.
Module 3: Situational Awareness & Active Threat Response
- Train your mindset and eyes to recognize pre-threat indicators.
- Learn how to position yourself in public spaces for safety.
- Active shooter response principles (avoid, escape, engage).

The Wolf Pack Academy
Overview:
This advanced academy focuses on real-world, scenario-based training. Students should have a solid foundation in firearm safety and handling. You'll train for fast, defensive reactions under stress in simulated street-level situations. (Pre-requisite: must take our Pistol Foundations 101 & the Concealed Carry Pistol Tactics)
Module 1: Live Fire Combatives & Close Quarters Shooting
- Train rapid engagements from 3-7 yards.
- Practice moving while shooting, retention shooting, and muzzle discipline in tight spaces.
- Includes one-handed shooting and malfunction clearing under pressure.
Module 2: Self-Defense & Use of Force Tactics
- Integrate verbal commands, de-escalation, and defensive positioning.
- Train on use-of-force continuum and decision-making under duress.
- Incorporates basic hand-to-hand skills to create space for a draw.
Module 3: Scenario-Based Street Encounters
- Face real-world scenarios in mock environments (parking lots, stores, etc.).
- Simulations with role players or training aids to test judgment and speed.
- Post-incident actions: calling 911, securing the scene, and interacting with law enforcement.

For those who want street-level readiness and live- fire stress training.

- Class Duration: 1.5-2 hours per module (4.5-6 hours total per Academy)

- Zoom Sessions: Q&A on alternating bi-weekly schedule of your class modules with different instructors, allows you to meet our entire team.
